Access Statement
Introduction
The Atlanta is a beautiful Victorian terrace property set on the tree lined Columbus Ravine. We aim to meet the needs of all of our guests however due to the nature of the property this can make access for guests with limited mobility difficult.
The Atlanta is located on a gentle hill with bedrooms on different levels, with steps leading up to the entrance and between floors, making them unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Pre-Arrival
- Atlanta is located on a main road with easy access by car
- Nearest bus stop to town centre is 200yds away
- Nearest shop is 200yds away
- Scarborough Railway Station is approx' 3/4 mile away. Plenty of taxis are available around the station, we are happy to pre-book taxis for you from the Hotel
- The Atlanta do not accept pets, we own a cat ourselves but she is not allowed in the hotel area

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
- Please advise us when making a booking of your anticipated arrival time
- Rooms are available from 1pm we ask you to vacate by 11am on day of departure ( late check out is available where possible for a small supplement )
- Parking is 'on-street' outside the hotel, permits are provided FOC to enable you to park at no cost for the duration of your stay
- Secure parking is available for two wheeled transport ( Motorbikes and push-bikes )
- We are walker and cyclist friendly
- Assistance with luggage is always available
Main Entrance & Reception
- There are 3 steps into the lobby area from outside of varying height. Please ring the bell on arrival
- A reception desk is in the hallway where you can check in and a bell available to summon assistance
Public Areas - General (Internal)
- The front door leads through the lobby onto a laminate floored hallway and reception
- Off the hallway through a door is the main guest lounge with comfortable seating c/w TV and DVD player
- The dining room is also accessed through a door off the main hallway. Separate tables are provided for each room
- The Atlanta has 2 main staircases of 13 steps leading to the first floor then a further 13 steps to the second floor, all staircases have handrails to one side
- All rooms including public areas have central heating with most being double glazed

- The public toilet is located on the first floor
Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe
- The lounge is always open for guests use
- ample seating is available with sofas and easy chairs, TV and DVD player
- The Atlanta is NOT licence
- The dining room is large and spacious fully carpeted with separate tables for each bedroom
- All meals are served in the dining room, evening dinner is available 7 days a week, please order at breakfast

- We have 9 bedrooms set on 2 floors all are fully carpeted and central heated
- Most rooms are en-suite
- Beverage facilities in all rooms
- TV's, Hairdryers and clock radios are provided in all bedrooms
- For guests with feather allergies etc synthetic pillows duvets are available please inform on booking
- All rooms are spacious and decorated to the highest standard
- All bedrooms are located on the first floor with the exception of rooms 6 and 8 which are on the second floor

- Fire extinguishers are distributed around the hotel and clearly marked

- The Atlanta is FULLY NON SMOKING
- We are happy to cater for ALL special diets and certain likes and dislikes please advise before arrival
